Smart Education is recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a Key Stage 2 class within a specialist SEND setting in Stratford-upon-Avon. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for a dedicated professional who is passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.

Job Requirements:
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience supporting KS2 pupils and/or pupils with SEND preferred
• Strong communication skills, patience, and emotional resilience
• Ability to follow EHCPs and adapt support to individual learning needs
• Positive, flexible, and team-focused approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Child & Adult Workforce) or willingness to obtain
• Valid passport
• Ability to provide 24 months of employer or academic references
Role Responsibilities:
• Provide classroom support across Key Stage 2
• Assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of learning activities
• Support pupils with communication, independence, and emotional regulation
• Deliver 1:1 and small group support as directed
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
